AQUABIOTEC ENGINEERING SARL is a French specialist for water and wastewater treatment solutions.

The history of the company goes back to the early 1980s as an engineering office in Hamburg, Germany, with the participation of the Technical University of Hamburg-Harburg. During the first 20 years of its existence, numerous industrial and municipal wastewater and water treatment plants were planned. In 2000, AQUABIOTEC was founded in co-operation with the French company DEGREMONT SA to also offer its customers turnkey construction and commissioning of plants.

Based on its success, further companies were subsequently founded in Germany, Romania and Bulgaria to offer its customers a local service.

Today, the company is managed by CEO Dr Andreas Rüdiger and CFO Felix Lestrat.
