Aquabiotec in specialized in the delivery of sustainable solutions for water and wastewater treatment for municipalities and industries. The main characteristics of Aquabiotec solutions are small footprint with low landscaping, less concrete needed and low energy consumption. The technologies are efficient in terms of its use of energy and resources. The CO2 Emissions are about 30% less than conventional technologies.

Aquabiotec uses micro-biological processes with sessile biomass, in particular Biological Aerated Filtration BAF and the Fixed Bed Biofilm Reactor FBBR, to achieve the above-mentioned objectives.  There are over 1,000 technological references for both processes in Europe with over 40 years of successful operating experience.

The plants are designed in accordance with international standards and the applicable German ATV and DVGW design regulations and comply with the applicable EU directives on the required performance
